What is Professional Coaching?
Coaching is defined by the International Coaching Federation "ICF" as a partnership with clients in a thought-provoking, inspiring and creative process to maximize personal and professional potential, which is especially important in today's uncertain and complex environments.
Coaches view each client as an expert in their own life and work, and believe that each client is creative, resourceful, and whole. A professional coaching relationship includes an agreement that specifies the responsibilities of each party in the coaching process. When coaching is built on this foundation, the coach's responsibilities include:
Discovering, clarifying and aligning with what the customer wants to achieve,
Encouraging the customer to discover himself,
To reveal the solutions and strategies produced by the customer,
To make the customer responsible and accountable.
